Born in Mauritius Island, Double Major & Diploma in Sugar Technology with Master’s in Chemical Engineering, started his International Consulting career in the Sugar Industry as owner and President of John H. Payne, Inc. With his 35 years working in various positions in the sugar factory he has acquired a vast knowledge of the sugar operations. Written and published technical papers for HST, Sugar Journal, International Sugar Journal, CENICANA, Sugar Industry Technologist, and International Sugar Consultant who originally revealed to produce Antioxidant from cane syrup in the world.
Jayant Ingawale(Founder, Indian Region)
20+ years of experience in execution Indian Sugar and power sector projects and Sugar Industries in Africa, USA, South east Asia and South America. He was instrumental in introducing Planetary Gear Boxes to Indian Sugar Industry for Cane Milling Operations and Single Drum Boilers for co-generation projects. John H Payne India Pvt. Ltd., is a Company recently launched in India, By Mr. Jayant Ingawale and Mr. Robert Kwok with a purpose to introduce and promote the best of available advanced technology and Products in the sugar and Power Sector. Born in Mauritius Island, Robert J. Kwok attended the Mauritius College of Agriculture after graduating from High School in 1965. He majored in Sugar Technology and graduated with a Diploma in Sugar Technology in 1968. His sugar career started as a Chief Chemist at the Belle Vue Sugar Estate in Mauritius. In 1970 he went to Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, USA to study for a B.S degree in Chemical Engineering with a double major in Sugar Engineering. He graduated with both degrees in 1972. He then moved back to Mauritius where he took employment as Assistant Sugar Technologist at the Mauritius Sugar Industry Research Institute (MSIRI). After a year of working in research he decided to join the sugar industry again as Process Manager/Technical Advisor of Solitude Sugar Estate in Mauritius. In 1974 he left Mauritius to go back to LSU for his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He graduated with a M.S degree in Chemical Engineering in 1976 and took employment in Hawaii.
